PETALING JAYA: Construction outfit Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd
has accepted a letter of award from E&O Express Sdn Bhd (E&OE) with a contract value of RM87.7mil.
In a statement, Kerjaya Prospek said the contract covers the construction of 133 units of shop lots in Elmina, Shah Alam. Scheduled to commence on Nov 17, 2025, the project is expected to be completed within 30 months from the start date.
“The contract was undertaken on an arm’s length basis and based on normal commercial terms. E&OE is an indirect subsidiary of Eastern & Oriental Bhd, in which certain directors and major shareholders of Kerjaya have direct or indirect interests.”
Kerjaya Prospek chief executive officer and executive director Tee Eng Tiong said with this contract win, the group has secured a total of seven contracts year-to-date, worth approximately RM958mil in total, lifting the total outstanding order book to RM3.6bil.
