Bursa Malaysia issues UMA query to NexG over sharp price drop


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to NexG Bhd following a sharp fall in the price and a surge in trading volume of its shares.

At the close today, NexG's share price slipped seven sen, or 20 per cent, to 28 sen with 193.88 million units traded.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the bourse said that NexG's investors are advised to take note of the company's reply to the UMA query, which will be posted at the exchange's website under the company announcement.

NexG operates as a security-based information and communication technology solutions provider. - Bernama
