ICT Zone Asia receives purchase order worth RM14mil

PETALING JAYA: ICT Zone Asia Bhd has received a purchase order from Starza Corp Sdn Bhd for the leasing of information and communication technology (ICT) hardware and software for a period of 36 months, worth RM14.15mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the ICT company said the purchase order involves leasing of ICT hardware and software including desktops, laptops, printers, Microsoft Office and related peripheral devices to Starza for its delivery to a government agency.

“The purchase order will be carried out without any provision of ICT services.

“The company proposes to utilise a combination of proceeds from the initial public offering, bank borrowings and/or internally generated funds to finance the purchase of ICT hardware and software for the purpose of the lease.”

ICT Zone Asia said its gearing level is expected to increase accordingly as the company proposes to procure bank borrowings to partially finance the purchase of ICT hardware and software to fulfil the purchase order.
