TSR Capital gets contract for Ibtec township

TSR Capital said Ibtec is a masterplanned township spanning 7,290-acres designed to be South-East Asia’s first circular city.

PETALING JAYA: TSR Capital Bhd has accepted a letter of award worth RM85mil from JLG Buildworks Sdn Bhd for the proposed construction and completion of infrastructure works at the southern land plot of Ibrahim Technopolis (Ibtec) township in Kulai, Johor.

In a statement, TSR Capital said Ibtec is a masterplanned township spanning 7,290-acres designed to be South-East Asia’s first circular city focused on advanced industries while providing a low-carbon sustainable living experience.

“The first phase of Sedenak Tech Park East, which currently hosts data centres, has attracted investment from foreign investors. The infrastructure works form part of the ongoing development of Ibtec, envisioned as a premier industrial and technology hub strategically positioned within the Iskandar Malaysia region,” it said.

The area has been identified as a key growth node for data centres, high-value manufacturing, and logistics-based investments.
