Rohas gets RM29mil TNB job

PETALING JAYA: Rohas Tecnic Bhd has received a letter of acceptance from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) for a tender to perform contract works for a 275 kilovolts bulk supply (data centre) in Iskandar Puteri, Johor worth RM28.67mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the time for completion of works for the project is 240 days from the commencement date.

“The project is subject to the inherent risks associated with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contracts, including fluctuations in material prices.

“However, with the experience and expertise in similar EPCC projects, these risks are expected to be effectively mitigated.”

Rohas said the project will not have any effect on its share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholding, as it does not involve any allotment or issuance of new shares by the company.
