Kronologi Asia inks strategic partnership for AI data storage solution


KUALA LUMPUR: Kronologi Asia Bhd has entered into a partnership with LT Zero Pte Ltd, a company in collaboration with global data storage systems leader BDT Media Automation GmbH (BDT).

In a statement, the company said the partnership will centre BDT's Orion MC6 high-density archival storage solution, to meet the storage needs of enterprises and hyperscale data centres.

The solution, which provides a secure and scalable platform for archiving petabytes of data for up to 100 years, is cost-effective and energy-efficient while offering a green and sustainable option for long-term data retention.

This partnership is a critical step in adapting to the fundamental shifts in the global economy," said Kronologi CEO Edmond Tay. 

"By integrating BDT's cutting-edge technology, we are boosting our operational reliability and solidifying our role as a Pan-Asia data management leader."

BDT CEO marc Stenhilber added that the alliance with Kronologi will allow BDT to effectively penetrate the local market and grow our share with a trusted partner.
