Kelington wins RM108mil contract from global medical device manufacturer


PETALING JAYA: Kelington Group Bhd has accepted a contract awarded by a multinational corporation in the medical device industry for the design, construction, completion and commissioning of an automated storage and retrieval system for Warehouse 2 and external infrastructure works in Penang, worth RM108mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the integrated engineering solutions provider said the contract was awarded by a repeat customer with whom Kelington has maintained a sustained working relationship.

“The client is a leading global medical device manufacturer with operations in Penang, supporting the growing demand for advanced healthcare solutions worldwide.

“The works are scheduled to commence immediately, with completion slated for January 2027.”

As at 30 June 2025, the group’s outstanding orderbook stood at RM1.3bil. During July and August 2025, the group secured new contracts amounting to RM299.9mil.

With the addition of the RM108mil project for advanced packaging facility in Singapore awarded on Sept 22, 2025 and this RM108mil project in Penang, the group’s total new wins amounted to RM515.9mil.
