TXCD wins RM76mil building contract

KUALA LUMPUR: TXCD Bhd, formerly known as Ageson Bhd, has accepted a new contract worth RM75.86mil to undertake piling and building works in Sepang, Selangor.

The contract was awarded to its subsidiary, Ageson Kensetsu Sdn Bhd, by Golden Chain Development Sdn Bhd.

The scope includes construction and completion of piling and building works for a serviced residence and Soho project at Kampung Limau Manis in Dengkil.

The job is expected to run for 30 months once building plan approval is obtained. The company will provide a performance bond of RM3.79mil for the duration of the contract plus six months.

The new award follows the mutual termination of a similar letter of award from Mateen Group Sdn Bhd, which was rescinded after Golden Chain Development took over as project developer. TXCD said the latest contract is expected to contribute positively to its future earnings.
