AWC wins waste handling system job in Singapore


PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd has received a letter of acceptance from the Housing and Development Board of Singapore for the design, building and operating of a pneumatic waste conveyance system (PWCS), worth S$3.9mil (RM13mil).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the integrated facilities management services provider said the contract is in respect of Stream Singapore’s successful tender for PWCS at “Project DC & DD”.

AWC said Phase 1 of the design works will be from Oct 2, 2025 to Oct 1, 2026, followed by construction within 24 months from commencement instruction.

Meanwhile, Phase 2 will be from Oct 2, 2025 to Oct 1, 2026, followed by construction within 24 months from commencement instruction. The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the AWC Group.
