Advancecon wins RM67mil JCorp contract for Ibtec

Advancecon said this latest win further strengthens its footprint in Johor.

PETALING JAYA: Advancecon Holdings Bhd has won a RM66.89mil contract from state-owned Johor Corp (JCorp) to carry out earthworks and ancillary works for the Southern Ibrahim Technopolis (Ibtec) township in Kulai, Johor.

The group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd, received a letter of acceptance from JCorp’s JLG Technopark Sdn Bhd for Package 1 of the township’s first phase.

The contract is scheduled to be completed within 16 months from Sept 24, 2025.

JLG Technopark is formerly known as TPM Technopark Sdn Bhd. Ibtec, a 7,290-acre township in Sedenak, is envisioned as a major circular city within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).

Advancecon said this latest win further strengthens its footprint in Johor.

The project also represents an opportunity for Advancecon to participate in the early development stages of JS-SEZ.

“This project not only enhances our presence in Johor but also aligns with our commitment to building infrastructure that supports long-term economic development,” said group chief executive officer Datuk Phum Ang Kia.

Advancecon, listed in 2017, provides earthworks and civil engineering services, with projects spanning township developments, expressways and rail lines.
