PETALING JAYA: The impact from the looming US sector tariffs on semiconductor imports is expected to be less severe than initially anticipated for Malaysia’s semiconductor sector, says TA Research.

US President Donald Trump stated he will impose “fairly substantial” tariffs on semiconductor imports soon.
