Reservoir Link Energy unit inks RM60.2mil contract for industrial waste facility


KUALA LUMPUR: Reservoir Link Energy Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary RL Sigma Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a RM60.2mil contract from Sage Promaster Sdn Bhd for a turnkey EPCC contract for a 15,000-tonne capacity waste recovery facility in relation to waste renewable energy.

It said in a bourse filing the letter of award shall commence on Aug 27, 2025, and be completed within six months until Feb 26, 2026.

The scop of the works include the design and supply of a robust and flexible industrial waste recovery facility including civil and structural works, mechanical and electrical systems, and

automation capabilities to process up to 15,000 tonnes of raw materials classified under scheduled waste codes approved by the Department of Environment.

Safefuels, a proprietary alternative fuel of Sage Promaster, will be used in the recovery process. 

According to the filing, it is designed to generate renewable energy comparable to conventional fuels used in cement and power plants.
