Cypark, Sunview Consortium shortlisted for 99.99 MW solar project in Port Dickson

KUALA LUMPUR: Cypark Resources Bhd has announced that a consortium, comprising its wholly-owned subsidiary Cypark Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd and Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunview Group Bhd, has received a letter of notification from the Energy Commission (EC).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Cypark said that the EC has shortlisted the consortium as a bidder to develop a 99.99-megawatt large-scale solar photovoltaic plant in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, under the competitive bidding exercise known as LSS PETRA 5+.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the project is anticipated to yield sustained positive contributions to the group’s future earnings over the project lifespan.

“The costs for the project will be financed through a combination of internally generated funds and/or bank borrowings,” Cypark said.
