Mimos inks technology transfer deal with Bangladesh

PUTRAJAYA: Mimos Services Sdn Bhd (MSSB), the commercial arm of Mimos Bhd, will spearhead a series of strategic initiatives aimed at advancing Bangladesh’s semiconductor and high-technology sectors.

This followed a memorandum of understanding inked yesterday with the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry to advance technology transfer, talent development and research collaboration in the semiconductor sector.

In a statement, MSSB said the strategic alliance marked a significant step in deepening diplomatic and economic relations between both countries, while laying a strong foundation for cooperation in other emerging and high-impact technologies.

“These include the development of specialised training programmes for Bangladeshi talent in integrated circuit design, semiconductor technology, embedded systems and product test engineering,” it said. — Bernama
