CBH Engineering bags RM194.66mil data centre EPCC contract


KUALA LUMPUR: CBH Engineering Holdings Bhd has via its wholly-owned subsidiary CBH Engineering Sdn Bhd secured a RM194.66mil contract for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning works of an electrical supply system for a 275kV CS for a proposed data centre in Selangor.

While the customer has not been named due to a non-disclosure agreement, CBH said in a stock exchange filing it was principally "engaged in the development of building projects for own operation, ie. for renting of space in these buildings".

The contract shall be effective from the date of acceptance on Aug 5, 2025, to the substantial completion date of Dec 31, 2026.

Prior the lunch break, shares in CBH were up 0.5 sen or 1.67% to 30.5 sen apiece after 2.98 million shares traded.
