KUALA LUMPUR: S P Setia Bhd recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Setia Garden Residences project at EcoXuan in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The developer said the project is located within its EcoXuan township, in Bình Dương Province, in the urban area of Bình Dương Province, which is now part of Ho Chi Minh City.
“Setia is committed to being a leader in building sustainable communities and enriching lifestyles, not just in Malaysia but globally, especially in strengthening our presence in Vietnam,” President and CEO Datuk Choong Kai Wai said in a statement.
"Our progress in Setia Garden Residences in EcoXuan reflects Setia’s commitment to leveraging strategic advantages while affirming the development's strong legal foundation, following the administrative merger of Binh Duong into Ho Chi Minh City,” he added.
Setia Vietnam general director Sherman Kam, in his opening remarks, highlighted the group’s commitment to developing high-quality, environmentally friendly living spaces that provide long-term value for the community.
Setia Garden Residences, scheduled for completion in 2027, is positioned to become a new landmark in the northern corridor of Ho Chi Minh City.
With a gross development value (GDV) of US$81mil, the project is located along Binh Duong Boulevard, a key arterial road linking Ho Chi Minh City to neighbouring provinces.
Comprising three towers of 27 to 28 floors, Setia Garden Residences will offer 865 upscale apartments and shophouses. The apartment types range from studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom layouts.
