BANK Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd, or more commonly known as Bank Rakyat, has never been the typical commercial bank.
Established in 1954 under the Cooperative Ordinance 1948, it began as a small cooperative banking initiative meant to serve rural Malaysians and civil servants.
