JF Technology names Andy Goh as CEO; Ayer Holdings appoints Joanne Lee Sor Phaik as group CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: JF Technology Bhd has appointed Andy Goh Joo Hwa as chief executive officer (CEO), effective July 1, 2025.

In a statement, the integrated circuit (IC) maker said Datuk Foong Wei Kuong has been re-designated as group managing director to focus on driving the group’s new strategic expansion under the JF 4.0 Transformation plan.

Goh, 53, will oversee the group’s existing businesses and operations, focusing on enhancing technological innovation, market expansion, improving customer intimacy, and operational excellence.

Foong will concentrate on the group’s expansion opportunity through venturing into strategic new business partnerships and corporate mergers and acquisitions, in line with the group’s JF 4.0 Transformation.

Separately, Ayer Holdings Bhd has appointed Joanne Lee Sor Phaik, 55, as its group CEO with immediate effect.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the property developer and cultivator of oil palm and durian, said Lee will succeed Chua Seng Yong (62) who has retired.

“Most recently, Lee served as chief executive officer of Kerjaya Prospek Property Bhd, where she led transformation initiatives to drive sustainable value and returns.

“Lee will now lead Ayer in its next phase of growth and transformation to deliver long-term value to stakeholders.”

She has over 30 years of leadership experience across diverse industries including property development, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and procurement.

Since joining Ayer as deputy group CEO in October 2024, she has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, championing sustainable development, and shaping the group’s vision of building vibrant, liveable communities.

Prior to joining Ayer, Lee held senior positions at TT Resources Bhd, Tropicana Corp Bhd, Kerjaya Prospek Property Bhd, and IGB Bhd — where she led transformational projects across marketing, procurement, and business development. Her proven leadership and deep industry insight have consistently delivered growth and value across both local and international markets.
