Solarvest expands Asean footprint with Brunei’s solar power deal


PETALING JAYA: Solarvest Holdings Bhd’s 34% stake in a large solar photovoltaic project in Brunei is a boost to its regional expansion and business model.

The company’s wholly owned unit, Atlantic Blue Sdn Bhd, in a joint venture (JV) with Khazanah Satu Sdn Bhd (30% stake) and Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd (36% stake), will develop a 30 megawatt alternating current solar plant in Kampong Belimbing, Kota Batu in Brunei.
