Kinergy Advancement wins Labuan job


PETALING JAYA: Kinergy Advancement Bhd (KAB) has secured a contract from Rancha Power Sdn Bhd (RPSB) for the provision of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services for a 120MW power plant facility in Labuan, worth RM646.32mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the green energy supplier said the project is expected to contribute to the group’s income growth and strengthen its technical expertise in delivering complex energy infrastructure.

“Upon the completion of the project, it will further reinforce the group’s position in the realm of sustainable energy solutions,” it added.

RPSB is a joint-venture company between PG Energia Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petronas Gas Bhd; Sustainable Power Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd; and SEC Power Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sabah Energy Corp Sdn Bhd.
