PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Bhd’s Australasian industrial segment may face emerging headwinds such as a slowdown in demand for machinery orders, near term gross margin pressure from tariff costs and constrained pricing power.

Affin Hwang Investment Bank Research said the group’s Australasian industrial segment remains its core earnings driver amid ongoing structural challenges in China.
