MN Holdings bags RM180mil EPC contract for data centre substation


KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd has announced its wholly-owned subsidiary Mutu Nusantara Sdn Bhd has secured a RM180mil contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of a substation for a data centre located in the Southern Region of Peninsular Malaysia.

The works encompasses the supply of labour, equipment, and materials for the construction works of the consumer landing station, as well as the installation of underground ducting for high-voltage cables and ensuring switchgear readiness for external connections, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The customer, which has not been named, provides infrastructure for hosting data processing services and related activities.

MN Holdings said the contract shall commence on April 16, 2025, with the targeted completion date tentatively set for the first half of 2026.
