Perdana Petroleum wins three-year AHTS vessel charter contracts from Hess


KUALA LUMPUR: Perdana Petroleum Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd (PNSB), accepted two letters of award from Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia B.V. on Nov 20, 2024.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Perdana Petroleum said the contracts were for the charter of two anchors handling tug & supply (AHTS) vessels under a production operations vessels (POV) contract.

The contracts are for three years from the commencement date of the charter for the above AHTS vessels respectively as evidenced on the on-hire certificate with an extension option of three years.

PNSB shall provide two units of AHTS vessels with crew and equipment to perform the agreed scope of works to meet the charterer’s requirements.

“The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Perdana Petroleum for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 to 2028,” it said.
