Kenneth Chang appointed deputy CEO of U Mobile

KUALA LUMPUR: U Mobile has appointed Kenneth Chang as its deputy CEO, effective March 28, 2025.

In a statement, the telco said Chang, 52, is a founding director of U Mobile who has been instrumental in shaping the company's strategic direction from inception.

In his new role, Chang will oversee regulatory, business strategy, communications and sustainability functions.

He will also lead strategic stakeholder management to navigate the company’s dynamic business environment, while continuing to serve as a director on the board of U Mobile, a role he has held since 2006.

"Kenneth's broad experience and expertise will be invaluable as U Mobile embarks on a new phase of growth as the future licensed 5G network facilities provider,” said Wong Heang Tuck, CEO of U Mobile.

Chang holds a bachelor’s degree (honours) in electronic engineering from the University of Southampton, UK.
