Jati Tinggi bags RM48mil data centre job


PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd has received a letter of acceptance from Tenaga Nasional Bhd to perform contract works for a 275 kilovolts (kV) bulk supply connection to a data centre in Johor, worth RM48.38mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Jati Tinggi said the project includes the supply, to erect, testing, and commissioning of a 275kV double circuit underground power cable works, a 275kV double circuit overhead transmission line works and substation works, including hybrid overhead lines and underground cables transition yards, high-voltage equipment, earthing, lightning protection and associated works.

“The contract shall be effective from March 26, 2025 and shall be completed within 270 days from the commencement date of the contract which will be determined later,” said the company.
