Ringgit still susceptible to short-, long-term drivers


PETALING JAYA: The ringgit experienced heightened volatility last year, driven by global activities and consistent with trends of other currencies.

In Bank Negara’s Annual Report 2024, it said investor confidence in Malaysia grew steadily over the year, with the ringgit ending 2.7% higher against the US dollar, and 7.5% higher against major trading partners.
