KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Mutu Nusantara Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM168.9mil contract to design and build a 275/33 kilovolt (kV) substation in the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the infrastructure utilities construction and engineering solutions specialist said it could not disclose the customer’s identity due to a non-disclosure agreement.

The contract covers the engineering, procurement, and construction of a 275/33kV substation in the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

The project is scheduled to commence in March 2025 and is expected to be completed by March 2026.

“This award represents a significant step for MN Holdings as we secure our first project with an US-based international data centre operator,” managing director Datuk Clement Toh said in a separate statement.
