Kerjaya Prospek wins RM51mil job


PETALING JAYA: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek Sdn Bhd, has secured a piling and earthworks contract from Persada Mentari Sdn Bhd for the proposed service apartment at Bandar Tanjung Pinang, Pulau Andaman, Daerah Timur Laut, Pulau Pinang, for RM51.03mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Kerjaya Prospek said the job entails the completion of the foundation piling system and pile caps, construction of a basement and two levels of lower ground and all associated site works.

It also includes earthworks for the proposed two blocks of 52-storey service apartment with a basement level and two lower ground levels.

Certain directors and major shareholders of Kerjaya Prospek have direct and indirect stakes in Persada Mentari’s parent company, Eastern & Oriental Bhd, making the contract a related party transaction.
