Bursa suspends short selling of Notion VTec’s shares


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia has suspended intraday short selling (IDSS) of Notion VTEC Bhd for the rest of the day after a sharp drop in its share price.

Notion VTec’s share price dropped sharply by 20%, or 23 sen to 92 sen with 49.4 million shares done.

Bursa Malaysia said the suspension was triggered after the stock dropped more than 15% per or 15 sen from the reference price.

The short selling under IDSS will only be activated the following trading day, Feb 17, 2025 at 08:30 am.
