Genting Bhd, the dominant casino player in the Asean region with its early inception and reach in this part of South-East Asia appears to now be challenged on various fronts.

It has two resort casinos in two of the bigger economies in the region, namely in Malaysia and Singapore. These casinos are parked under the group’s majority owned and public listed companies Genting Malaysia Bhd (GenM) and Genting Singapore Ltd (GenS) respectively.
