SSF partners with Rumah Ibu to furnish affordable homes in Perak

KUALA LUMPUR: SSF Home Group Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rumah Ibu Sdn Bhd to collaborate on the Rumah Ibu Scheme, a home ownership initiative by Rumah Ibu.

Under the scheme, Rumah Ibu plans to offer opportunities to at least 35,000 landowners in the Rancangan Perkampungan Tersusun (RPT) in Perak.

Under this collaboration, SSF will serve as the exclusive supplier of kitchen cabinets and furniture vouchers for new Rumah Ibu buyers under the Rumah Ibu Scheme. This ensures buyers receive quality and stylish home furnishings.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, SSF said it will provide kitchen cabinets worth between RM1,500 and RM5,000, along with furniture vouchers of up to RM5,500, depending on the Rumah Ibu model.

"At SSF, we believe that a well-furnished home is fundamental to a comfortable and fulfilling life. This collaboration with Rumah Ibu Sdn Bhd and State Government of Perak allows us to extend our reach to Rumah Ibu buyers who need affordable furnishing solutions while supporting the government’s initiative to expand home ownership.

“We are committed to making quality home furnishings accessible and are excited to be part of this meaningful initiative that will positively impact communities in Perak,” SSF executive director Lok Kok Khong said.
