AZRB bags RM63mil bridge contract

PETALING JAYA: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB) has accepted a contract from the Public Works Department for the construction and completion of a bridge at Kampung Binjai, Kuala Lipis, Pahang, worth RM63.44mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, AZRB said the contract duration is for 36 months from Feb 12, 2025.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings,” it noted.

AZRB said the bridge, spanning approximately 400m in length and 11m in width, will cross the Sungai Lipis River in Pahang.

Connecting the federal route to Kampung Binjai, the bridge marks another milestone, showcasing AZRB’s strong track record in completing similar projects, such as Jambatan Putra in Kuantan, Pahang.

The company added that the project will support its strategic plans and growth over the next three years.
