HSS Engineers in RM31mil paddy project win


KUALA LUMPUR: HSS Engineers Bhd’s (HEB) associate company, SMHB Sdn Bhd, has entered into a consultancy service agreement (CSA) with MMC Infra Padi Sdn Bhd to provide engineering consultancy services for a project aimed at supporting five paddy cultivation seasons within two years, valued at RM30.52mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the engineering consultancy company said the project in the Kawasan Muda area falls under the Jeniang Water Transfer Scheme Project Phase II.

The project is expected to commence this month and be completed by June 2030.

Under the CSA, HEB said SMHB will provide engineering consultancy services for Phase I of the project, including reviewing and updating studies and designs, detailed design work, construction supervision, contract management, and other professional services needed to complete the project. — Agencies
