Citaglobal clinches RM36.26mil in Kuching transportation deals


KUALA LUMPUR: Citaglobal Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Citaglobal Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (CESSB), has secured two sub-contracts with a combined value of RM36.26mil in Sarawak.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Citaglobal said the contracts are for the station and other works related to the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) project in Sarawak.

The first sub-contract was awarded by Marquris Holdings Sdn. Bhd and has a value of RM29.54mil.

The second sub-contract, which was awarded by 38 Marque Sdn Bhd, has a value of RM6.72mil.

Both sub-contracts have a duration of 14 months.

“The sub-contracts are expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2025 and Dec 31, 2026,” Citaglobal said.
