Alpha IVF’s earnings up 23% to RM15mil

The company's revenue for 3Q24 grew 12.2% to RM43.24mil.

PETALING JAYA: Fertility care specialist Alpha IVF Group Bhd has posted a 22.63% rise in net profit to RM15.1mil for the second quarter ended Nov 30, 2024 (3Q24) compared with the same quarter of the previous year on sales revenue growth.

The company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that revenue for 2Q24 grew 12.2% to RM43.24mil compared with 2Q23 mainly due to the provision of assisted reproductive services focusing on in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatments, with the increase in the revenue mostly from foreign patients.

Alpha IVF said for the financial period-to-date, the company’s net profit grew 16.32% to RM30.22mil compared with the previous financial period-to-date on revenue that grew 7.61% to RM86.24mil mainly due to higher sales revenue derived from IVF treatments to foreign patients.

It will continue to focus on expanding its specialist services in Malaysia, China and South East Asia.
