CJ Century Logistics gets new deputy CEO


PETALING JAYA: CJ Century Logistics Holdings Bhd has appointed Kim Hyunchul, a South Korean national, as its deputy chief executive officer (CEO) with immediate effect.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CJ Century Logistics said Hyunchul, 47, will replace countryman Kim Jinmok, 48, who has resigned.

“Hyunchul has built his career with CJ Logistics Corp over a period of nearly 20 years from December 2004 to the present.

“He first started as a manager of the transportation operation team in CJ Logistics South Korea from December 2004 to June 2014, before serving as the vice-president of the business audit division from July 2014 to December 2023.

“He thereafter held the position of vice-president of the global innovation team from January 2024 to October 2024.”

Subsequently, Hyunchul served as the vice-president of CJ Logistics Corp’s South-East Asia 1 Division from October 2024 to December 2024 before his appointment as the deputy CEO of the firm on Jan 8, 2025.
