KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit opened higher against the US dollar and other major currencies amid cautious sentiment ahead of the People's Bank of China (PBoC) fixing today, an analyst said.
At 8 am, the ringgit strengthened to 4.4890/5050 against the greenback, compared with Friday's close of 4.4975/5030.
