Cypark 2Q earnings soar to RM2.3mil

PETALING JAYA: Cypark Resources Bhd will continue to focus on completing its current projects, while also selectively venturing into new ones.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the environmental engineering and technology provider said it is proactively identifying expansion.

For the second quarter ended Oct 31, 2024, Cypark’s net profit surged to RM2.28mil from RM992,000 in the previous corresponding period.

Revenue declined to RM49.15mil from RM55.28mil a year earlier, mainly attributed to lower revenue recognition from its hospital construction project, which is reaching completion.

For the six-month period, Cypark reported a net loss of RM15.79mil from a net profit of RM1.3mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue rose to RM98.97mil from RM91.8mil previously.
