Analabs Resources 2Q earnings rise


PETALING JAYA: Analabs Resources Bhd (ARB) posted a net profit of RM17.43mil in the second quarter ended Oct 31, 2024, an increase from the previous quarter of RM13.04mil.

Its revenue, however, dropped by 18.52% quarter-on-quarter to RM36.57mil.

According to the group, the drop was attributed to the decrease in revenue for its manufacturing, formulation and sales of resin, chemicals and building materials segment, as well as its contract work, pipe laying and rehabilitation segment.

As for the first half ended Oct 31, 2024, ARB recorded a net profit of RM22.99mil and a revenue of RM68.81mil. ARB said it will be undertaking relevant hedging strategies to control cost structure.
