Tuju Setia jumps 18% on RM389mil construction contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Tuju Setia Bhd surged in early trade Tuesday after the company secured a construction contract worth RM389mil.

The construction services company jumped 18.18%, or four sen to 26 sen at 9.33 am. The counter has risen 30% so far this year.

The Milla Residence project was awarded to Tuju Setia’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Pembinaan Tuju Setia Sdn Bhd by Beverly WM Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beverly Group Sdn Bhd.

Tuju Setia will construct two 52-storey tower blocks (Tower A and Tower B), along with common facilities and a 17-storey automated car park block with rooftop facilities.

Works will start in April 2025 and be completed within 36 months, Tuju Setia said.

With the latest win, Tuju Setia's order book has grown to RM2bil, ensuring earnings visibility through to 2028.
