HERE’S a target that has raised some eyebrows: The size of the European-domiciled actively managed exchange-traded fund (ETF) market is predicted to expand 20-fold over the next six years, reaching US$1 trillion.

That’s the forecast from Nick Cherney of Janus Henderson Investors, who expects this to happen by 2030.
