PETALING JAYA: Binastra Corp Bhd (BCB) has accepted a letter of award worth RM256.45mil from Exsim Jalil Link Sdn Bhd for mechanical and electrical fit-out works relating to a data centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, BCB said the contract will entail design, construction, completion, testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical fit-out works for Phase 1 as well as Phase 2 of the data centre.

BCB said the duration for Phase 1 will take nine months to complete, while Phase 2 will take 24 months.

“The contract is expected to provide an additional income stream for the group over the next three financial years,” it said.

“The contract will have no effect on the issued share capital of the company but is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the group for the financial years ending Jan 31, 2025 and 2027.”
