PETALING JAYA: T7 Global Bhd
has received its drilling jack-up rig, which will be mobilised to support PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd’s plug and abandonment programme for 53 wells across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.
Energy solutions provider T7 Global, in a statement, noted the rig, which was transported from West Africa to Malaysia, is a high-performance mobile platform, designed for efficient oil and gas drilling in waters up to 375 feet deep.
The self-elevated rig offers enhanced stability and precision during well operations. T7 Global’s group chief executive officer Tan Kay Zhuin said the rig elevates the group’s technical capabilities and extends T7 Global’s capabilities in the area of well plug and abandonment.
