UK can meet 2030 clean power target with less wind than promised

London: Britain has a narrow pathway to achieve the government’s goal of a clean power grid by 2030, and it may not need as much offshore wind as promised to get there.

The effort will require an unprecedented expansion of various technologies to reduce demand for natural gas, according to the National Energy System Operator (Neso).
