DNB appoints Azman Ismail as new CEO

PETALING JAYA: Digital Nasional Bhd (DNB) has appointed Datuk Azman Ismail as its new chief executive officer, with effect from today.

In a statement, DNB said Azman’s distinguished 36-year career has seen him hold pivotal leadership roles, notably as managing director and chief executive officer of PLUS Malaysia Bhd.

“He led impactful digital transformation and change management initiatives, garnering widespread recognition both in Malaysia and across the Asia-Pacific region as well as on the global stage.”

Prior to joining the toll highway operator, he was managing director of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and concurrently, the general manager of its retail business, overseeing Shell’s petroleum retailing in Malaysia and Brunei.

“As Azman takes on his new role at DNB, the company is confident that his extensive experience and astute leadership will drive DNB’s efforts in its next phase of development,” said DNB.
