DNeX has appointed Faizal Sham Abu Mansor as its new CEO

PETALING JAYA: Dagang Nexchange Bhd (Dnex) has appointed Faizal Sham Abu Mansor as its group chief executive officer effective Nov 1, 2024.

In a statement, the group said Tan Sri Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir Jamalullail will continue to lead the management team in his role as executive chairman until Dec 31, 2024, after which Faizal will succeed him in leading the management team of the group.

Syed Zainal will be redesignated as non-executive chairman of the board on Jan 1, 2025.

“In his role as non-executive chairman of the board, Syed Zainal will continue to lead Dnex’s board of directors in departing its role and fulfilling its responsibilities to the group’s stakeholders whilst ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices in corporate governance. Syed Zainal Abidin will also continue to lend his experience and support to the group on key strategic initiatives and stakeholder management,” it said.
