Mitec wins top honours at global travel, MICE awards

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec), owned by Matrade, has won top accolades at both the World Travel Awards (WTA) and the World MICE Awards (WMA) for the second consecutive year.

In a statement, it said it has been honoured with the titles of Malaysia’s Best Convention Centre 2024 at the World MICE Awards and Asia’s Leading Meetings and Conference Centre 2024 at the World Travel Awards, reflecting its outstanding facilities, cutting-edge technology, and exemplary support for world class events.

“This award reinforces our shared vision of excellence and our commitment to driving the MICE industry forward, setting new benchmarks for innovation and quality.

"We look forward to supporting Mitec in its ongoing journey to deliver world-class experiences and contribute to the economic growth and international standing of our country,” said Matrade CEO Datuk Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz.
