Eversendai, Emirates Steel partner on NEOM ski village


KUALA LUMPUR: Eversendai Bhd will collaborate with Emirates Steel, a unit of the Emirates Steel Arkan Group, in Abu Dhabi, on the NEOM Trojena Ski Village project.

In a statement, Eversendai said Emirates Steel will supply premium steel beams for the construction of the US$1.5 trillion ski resort in NEOM, off the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba.

Eversendai deputy group managing director Narishnath Nathan said the group is proud to collaborate with Emirates Steel on the project.

"It is a landmark project that will showcase our collective capabilities in delivering world-class steel construction solutions.

"This partnership highlights our commitment to pushing the boundaries of engineering and construction," he said.

Emirates Steel CEO Saeed Alghafri, meanwhile, expressed enthusiasm over the alliance.

"Emirates Steel is committed to supplying benchmark sustainable steel solutions that meet the stringent demands of innovative construction projects.

"This collaboration exemplifies our dedication to driving sustainable growth across the GCC and delivering value to our partners and stakeholders." he added.
