Datasonic receives govt job extension


PETALING JAYA: Datasonic Group Bhd has received letters of extension (LOE) from the Home Ministry (KDN) for the supply of Malaysian passport chips, documents and polycarbonate biodata pages for a period of six months from Dec 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024.

In a statement, the information and communication technology firm said the LOE had a cumulative value of RM134.95mil.

“The group has also announced that it received the letter of award from KDN for the supply of MyKad, MyTentera, MyPOCA raw cards and consumables to the National Registration Department for a period of six months for a contract sum of RM28.69mil,” it said.
