Eita unit bags RM56mil job from TNB


KUALA LUMPUR: EITA Resources Bhd’s 60%-owned subsidiary, TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd (TSC), has bagged a RM56.31mil contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd for the rehabilitation of PMU 132/11 kilovolts (kV) Gurun in Kedah.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said TSC’s scope of work for the contract included supplying, erecting, testing and commissioning a new 132kV conventional outdoor transmission substation to replace the existing old station.

TSC said other works include the civil, transmission lines and remote ends relay retrofits. The contract was effective from Nov 30, 2023, and is expected to complete in 730 days from the commencement date. — Bernama
